  • Use this guide to find the correct arrow length for your kyudo arrows. At our shop, arrow length is measured from tip (Yajiri) to nock (Hazu).

    1. Stand straight and face forward.

    2. Extend both arms horizontally at shoulder height.

    3. Measure the distance from the center of your chest to the tip of your left middle finger.

    4. Add about 10 cm (4 in) to this measurement. For beginners, we recommend adding 12–15 cm (5–6 in) for extra safety.

Please note that the arrow tip (Yajiri) adds approximately 1 cm (0.3in).

When ordering, please select the length including the arrow tip.

Please note that arrows are cut by hand, so slight variations in length may occur.
