A Nigirikawa (bow grip leather) is wrapped around the grip section of the bow.

It helps prevent slipping caused by perspiration and allows the bow to fit comfortably in the hand, supporting proper tenouchi (grip technique).

This bow grip leather is made from Ko-To grade deer leather, a high-quality deer leather commonly used for kyudo bow grips. It features a traditional Inden-style dragonfly pattern, inspired by the decorative leathercraft techniques of Japan.

Ko-To (小唐): One of the traditional grades of deer leather. Deer leather is classified into three grades: Oh-To (highest grade), Chu-To, and Ko-To. Inden (印伝): A traditional Japanese decorative leathercraft technique applied to deer leather. As this product is made from natural deer leather, each piece is unique and may show minor natural marks, scars, or variations in texture.
